R & R at Chateau de Hutcho

After stopping at the Botanical Gardens we made our way to a friend’s place at East Kurrajong. On the way we were somewhat bemused by the strange speed limit on the curiously named  Bells Line of Road:

We had a great “caravan site” in the bush with Bellbirds singing all day and access to luxury facilities such as the pool table and spa. Alan and Graeme went to the ANZAC Day march while I dog sat and worked on my fear of snakes by conducting some photography practice in the “snake room”.

We headed back home to Victoria for a week to sort out the farm – 1000km of boring freeway with only my eclectic mix of music on the ipod for amusement.

Them the same again on the way back for the start of the second part of the trip. Thanks Graeme for letting us stay with you and looking after the van while we headed home for a week.
