Yorke Peninsula Wrapup

This was another great trip although admittedly we have not had a bad one yet!

Duration: 14 days/nights
Total KM: about 4200

Cost Breakdown:
Fuel: $425
Groceries: $214 including stocking up at home
Accommodation : $161 (Average about $11.50 per night but only 3 nights in a caravan park)
Miscellaneous: $75 (Lunches, card reader, washing)

Total Cost: $ 875 for 14 days or $437.50 per week (for both of us together)

Highlights:
Beautiful stone buildings in many of the older towns
Port Julia community camp
The South West part including Marion Bay and Innes National Park
Moonta and the Copper mining history
Moorook and meeting Dave Jacka

Lowlights
Much of the scenery around the Yorke is monotonous flat rocky cereal paddocks
The beaches are not as nice as in other parts of Australia
The tourist towns like Ardrossan and Port Vincent left us underwhelmed

Until the next trip, destination not yet determined but the Flinders Ranges are one of the considerations.
